Non-existent paper jam

Dell 924 printer keeps saying that it has a paper jam but there is no jam and no paper in the printer - anyone know a reset code or something else to try?

There is almost certainly an optical sensor somewhere that either has a tiny bit of paper or dust in it. Try blowing dust out of the insides of the printer with a shop vac set to blow air out. Also try disconnecting/reconnecting the optical sensors throughout the paper path of the printer. Only do these things with the printer disconnected from everything.
