Air flow in the duct work is restricted... and the dryer sensor thinks that the filter is clogged.

You will need to take a fluffy cleaning wand and, with the filter removed, try loosening up some of the accumulated line in the duct.

Next, remove the lint pipe from the wall connector and try cleaning it and the pipe for as much distance as you can reach.

Finally, go outside and check the vent. It needs to be clean and clear of obstructions... also, needs to close when the machine is off.
You can do testing on the outside vent with "air dry" setting - hot air is not required... Keep cleaning ductwork until the outside vent passes air freely.

After air flow is restored, the sensor in the "VENT" alarm will act nice.....and stay off

LG Gas Dryer 5988W error is check filter

Check filter light is just FYI, it's not connected to anything. I would say check your drive belt. If it's broken or off the pulley, dryer won't start.

Flashing check filter I have and cleaned all filter, but the dryer is still not drying.

Have you cleaned your outlet vent tubing? Cleaning filters is just one part of really cleaning your dryer. You have to clean your dryer vent from the back of your dryer. Disconnect the vent from behind your dryer and use a shop vac to suck out any lint that mite be built up. Blocked lint tubes are #1 cause of dryer fires.
Hope this helps

I have a lg tromm dle2514 dryer and the check filter light is on. I am willing to clean it (I've already cleaned the front filter area) I just have no idea where there is another filter

Hi,
There is no other filter to clean other then the one lint filter.
I would check the dryer vent to make sure it's not restricted with lint build up or has any kinks in it. Also check the outside flapper at the end of the dryer vent to make sure it's clear of lint and able to open all the way.
If your dryer vent is ok and the lint screen is clean then I would remove the front of the dryer and check the blower/fan housing for lint build up.

CHECK FILTER LIGHT COMES ON. i HAVE CLEAN THE FILTER AND HAVE TAKE A FILTER BRUSH AND CLEAN THE COMPARTMENT BUT THE MESSAGE KEEPS COMING UP.

The filter and compartment are only a portion of the exhaust system. Make sure you clean the pipe from the dryer to the out doors and clean the exhaust fan below the filter.
Good luck.

Dryer keeps saying check filter - lint screen is clean-dryer won't run

Had the same problem. Filter was clean. Vacuumed out the area under the filter. Still had problem. Unplugged the dryer. Removed the hose vent (back of dryer) and checked the exhaust -- all clean. Plugged the dryer back in and was fine. Still going to check the vent to the outside for lint buildup.

Bosch WTL5400 Condensation Dryer

We continuously had a similar problem with signals forever coming on after just a few dryer loads. The problem was corrected when we took the back off of the dryer and cleaned the recirculating fan and removed a rubber glove that somehow came through the system and blocked the air flow at the heating element. Low air flow is the same as plugged filter and apparently the computer in our German-made Bosch dryer simply says that. We cleaned the area well, removed all traces of the glove and restored the dryer to operation. We have not had the filter problem since. We routinely clean the heater area at the back of the dryer to maintain our sanity. And we now dry our clothes. Bosch never responded to my query.

Front loading dryer

The check filter light is just a reminder light and cannot be reset.  Nothing to worry about.  Just keep the filter clean before each use.
