  • Anonymous Jan 05, 2008

I turned it off for long time and tried again

Unit plays for a while, then the speakers (all) regularly cut on and off about every other second. The unit is long past warrantee, so I opened it up. I don't see anything obvious (bad solder joints, etc).

When it is playing a cd? well I guess your optical lens has a problem.. adjusting the variable resistor at the side of the optical lens (you can find the optical lens inside your unit where the cd/dvd is playing)..
if your using for radio? bad solder is the main problem, and a capacitor is almost going to blow( but it won't blow if it was installed properly). changing it is the best way.

Car makes a humming electrical noise under hood, when I try to start it just clicks

The humming noise might be your cooling fan(s) coming on with the key in the "on" position. Check your battery connections for corrosion. Have someone jump the battery to see if the additional amps will turn the starter. Sounds like a bad starter though. I would need to know the year, make, model to be more helpful.

Humming loud noise

Sometimes depending on what type of tire you have, they can be making the humming sound, other than that you'd have to give more detail as to where you think it's coming from, like the back or the front, the engine or the wheels, transmission?

My kitchen aid refrigerator model kssc42qms02 making humming noises and the the temp lights are flashing

Assuming that both freezer and refrigerator temperatures have risen and the humming sound that you heard was followed by a sudden click more than likely the start device on the compressor has gone bad. This is a common problem with all Whirlpool refrigerators (KitchenAid is Whirlpools top of the line product and suffers the same problem).

Rt2250 rt2500 speaker static noise hum buzz until fully warmed up

It sounds like a capacitor in the power supply is just about to die. With the power disconnected have a look at the large tin can looking gizmos near the power transformer. There could be a couple of them. Leave the unit switched off for a while before going near them they could still pack a splat. Replace them with the same value and make sure they're connected the right way and it should solve your problem. Whilst in there have a good look for any other smaller capacitors which look as if they're getting rounded at the top. Replace them too. Either that or dig deep and buy a new one.
