My battery died I replace the battery and now radio do not except a code.

You may need the Factory Setup data (codes) to unlock the radio. That should be in your manual.

when the battery dies or is removed , the anti-theft code of the radio kicks in and the unit will not work again until a special code for that radio is reinstalled
the code could be in the user manual in the radio use section ,or there are sites on the net that may have the code for you

Look in the Owner's Manual for information on what is required if your car's battery is replaced - Yours wasn't replaced by did lose power. Likely a code needs entered - into the radio- to fix the issue.

by replacing the battery the anti-theft code requirement has been activated
check the radio forums and comments on this site as there are ways to recover the code

If your radio has anti-theft system you will have to go to the dealer and get the accss code to reactivate the radio if you dont have the code already. GM vehicles with anti-theft radios will lock when power is lost to the system if the radio is not turned off prior to battery disconnect or dying.

You need to recover the radio's serial number to decode the 4 digit radio key. The full process and decoder is available here: Porsche Boxster: Online Lost Radio Code Recovery Tool

There is no default code, the are unique to the radio. You will have to go to the dealer to get this code.

sometimes they do that for anti theft check your owners manual for the programming code

i shoul not afect any thing unless you replace the batterie with the car runing, and some radios have antitheft code if batterie die or disconect the radio will ask you to type a code in order to work again but most of times it display the worl code on the digital screen
