Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

1 Answer

White Screen. My Sansa e260 mp3 player screen starts off with the normal Sandisk screen. Then about 12 seconds later, it fades to a white screen. My computer doesn't recognize the device. All i can do is hold the power button for 15 seconds to turn it off. What should I do?

Unintall the device from the computer and try to reinstall it again..if that doesnt help you you will have to get a new new device from sandisk...

go to the settings of your MP3 player and check for contrast or Brightness. Lower either or both of these to get a dimmer screen(Brightness) or a less whited out screen(contrast)

Blank White Screen on my Sansa E260 4g mp3

Try doing a soft rest on your player. Hold the power button the player for 15-20 seconds. This should power the player off, after which you should be able to power it back on.

My e260 is restarting

It could be two things...the device is defective or the firmware needs to be update...i would recommend you to contact sandisk to get that firmware upgrade done on the device...and that should solve the problem you are having..

My sansa wont boot up

The best results that I have had were to hold the power button for about 15 seconds. ( if you only hold it for 3 seconds it goes into sleep mode). This shuts the device off. Then restart it.
