My ge profile electric oven will not Heat.

Does the broil still work? Did you check the fuses? Maybe the bottom element is burned through. If so, there is usually a strange looking bubble on it, or it is broken. They go after 4-5 years. If you want to check it pull the plug, then remove screws, usually 2 holding it to the back. Pull it gently out and unscrew the two wires. Check with an ohm meter, or take it in to a place that sells replacements and they will check it. Replacements are about $25
