All of the kfr series have a indoor coil sensor that monitors the tube temperature. In the heating mode it will sense for high temp and cut off the outdoor fan to try to lower the indoor coil temp. The cut off temp is 129f, when the coil cools down the fan will cut in and start developing heat again. If the coil continues to get warmer it will shut off completely. The system is either overcharged or the coils and or filters are dirty. All Soleus units need both lines insulated seperately and not together because the metering device is in the outdoor unit. Have your tech calibrate the charge and make sure you clean your filters every 3 months. Removing the sensor will cause the indoor coil to get too hot and possibley start to melt your housing. For further technical questions pleas call 626-378-1518 for technical questions,,professionals only.

The unit have a freeze up sensor, line freeze up is the cause of tripping of the unit.
For this problem you need a qualified technician to repair the unit.
The cause of freezing the line is, maybe there is a leak and the amount of the refrigerant in the system is not sufficient and that is the cause of the icing of line. And the freeze up sensor protect your unit to avoid severe damage.

The unit is NOT pulling water from the air to cause this error, yes they pull moisture out of the air and over TIME fill with water. The problem is that the unit shows the H8 error even when empty. Worked for 2 months and now just keeps popping the H8 code, EVEN THOUGH IT IS EMPTY. Unfortunately sometime you find out after buying a product that it is not quality, that is the case with Soleusair. Bad company, Bad product.

KFR-12G New Compressor.....Draws too much amperage now. As though it is in the start mode all the time. New Capacitor too. Not overcharged either. Wiring is as it was originally. Thanks in advance.

Well, I looked at the date of post, doubt, you still need help, But, you can try a hard start kit. A generic one will do. It may decrease the life of compressor though

Air conditioner

Go to any BOC Gases outlet and view their range of aircon fans. Depending on model $100 to $200. Fans are not an expensive item.
Allow an hour or two of labour (in case there are problems)

Solebus heating

yes, it is intended that way. I also have a Soleus and a special manual addendum sheet was inside the manual and it pointed out this feature..I think Soleus had a lot of customer phone-ins over this...I guess the idea for the exhaust is to withdraw moisture from the room, since anytime air is heated or cooled, moisture is a by-product that must be eliminated.
