My dryer is a 3 cycle automatic Heavy Duty (piece of junk)GE dryer. It is getting no heat at all. I took it apart to get to the pilot light (not even sure if it has one). We ran a load 3 times and the clothes were still wet. It is not making any strange sounds, but you can hear that the gas is not burning. Before, you could hear it. What's the prognosis? Is it a done deal, should I have an appliance guy check it out, or just throw it off the balcony? That would make me feel better, but I would like to dry my clothes...

After taking apart my dryer to lubricate a squeak, the belt came off and I cannot figure out how to put it back - it is very loose when I position it according to diagrams accessed on the web. Thank you so much for whatever help you can provide!

GE 5 Cycle Automatic Heavy Duty Extra Large Capacity dryer is getting hot, but takes 3 cycles to dry medium size loads of clothes. I checked the back of the dryer for lint and everything is clear, including the hose and vent. There's no noise or any obvious indication that something is wrong, it just takes 3 cycles to dry. What could cause this?

I have a GE dryer (DDE720SBLWW) that is not working after 1st load. A little frustrating, but I'm hoping this is an easy fix. I don't want to buy a new dryer.....at least yet. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks.
