Question about Acer Aspire™ T180 PC Desktop

Acer when i boot up my acer t180 there is green light but it will not boot up every time .. monitor will say no signal .. the fan doesn;t seem to be running as fast usual

Unfortunately you are experiencing a hardware failure and will need to have a technician diagnose and replace the faulty hardware.

your monitor power light is on? lcd?
maybe a backlight issue?
have you tried a different monitor?
if the pc is booting up it may be the monitor, if your pc is not, yes it could well be the processor or the motherboard itself.

Can not start my computer

Plug the unit directly to the ac outlet if it is plug into a surge protector. See if it boots. Did you shut it down yesterday or was it left running? Any bad weather last night? You could try another computer memory and see it is the memory. Not sure what it could be at this point. What type of system is it?
It could possibly be a bad power supply.

Acer T180 will not boot or power on. It has a bad attitude!

Try tapping F2 as it is booting to get in safemode. If that works we're in business.

Monitor Acer Problem

I agree it isn?t the monitor but I would suspect the video card you are connecting it to or the PC itself. Generally if a monitor doesn?t detect a video signal it will go into hibernation mode, typically displaying a no signal warning and changing the LED color from green to amber. When you start the computer is anything displaying at all? Are you sure the PC is powering up and booting?
