Re: The earpiece is broken

Hi, I just called the 800 # for Jabra, This was awesome! they are sending me one free complementary. They also have a 5 pack for 3.00 plus 2.00 shipping. I thought this would be handy! It's nice to know some companies still offer great "Customer Service" ..Take Care :)

Samsung pohne, bulltooth wont pair up, model of the bulltooth it emerson

If the earpiece it new make sure you charge it fully (usually about 2 hours). Then make sure the LED on the earpiece is lit (usually done by holding down the lighted button on the earpiece for about 5 seconds, or until it stays lit). Also, if your phone is a newer model it may have multiple places to enable bluetooth and pair devices. For example my HTC Ozone has a bluetooth manager and a COM manager. I can only use the COM manager to pair devices. If all else fails check your phone manual or Samsung's website for a PDF version if you lost it like I did. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Hello I am trying to install a new headset to my CS70 desk phone. The ruber earpiece on mine broke. How can I pair the new earpiece?.

When joining (or pairing) a Plantronics bluetooth headset to another device a lot depends on the other device. Assuming that you know the necessary steps of your phone, PC or other device for connecting a bluetooth device, all Plantronics headsets pretty much follow a set pairing procedure for connectivity. This one is for the Discovery 975:

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
2 Turn the earpiece on. Press and hold the call control button until the indicator flashes red/white.
3 Use the commands on your other device to locate and select your earpiece. 9xx Plantronics.
4 If prompted for the PIN code or Passkey, enter 0000.

Pairing is successful when the indicator on your earpiece flashes white.

Note If your phone supports Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you will not need to enter a PIN code or Passkey.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Earpiece won't link to phone anymore

Hi Josh,

there may be a battery or an internal antenna failure on your headset.

You might try re-pairing the devices if you can.

Plantronics Explorer 220 no longer connects to Blackberry Curve

You can have the two devices connected, but still get your sound through the phone. During a call (maybe call your voicemail or an automated number, just to make a call) try holding down the answer/end button on the earpiece until it beeps, and see if the sound switches from the phone to the earpiece. You can also try pressing the speakerphone button on your phone during a call to switch the call to the earpiece.

Did either of those ideas work?

Earpiece slipped off the plantronics bluetooth, and i want to know if there is anything to help put it together again.

my plantronics 510 voyager did the same thing. try putting the earpiece back on to the main bluetooth and wrapping a small rubber band BETWEEN THE TWO. the object is to put some opposing pressure on the earpiece to force it to stay on. it'll work at least till you get anoter earpiece

these are fun arn't they heheehh
first press and hold the on-off button on the earpiece until it beeps and your indicator light will either flash red & blue or stay a constant colour.
then get your phone to search for device.
sometimes you may need to be a foot or so away.
if it doesn't find it and you allready have a device by that name in there then delete it and try again
