W580i my phone will not turn on when i put it on the charger it flashes a redlight i had it charing all night and it still wont turn on what do i do?

I would get a new battery or the phone is old

Screen won't turn on

try charging it. once you hook up the charger and plug it on the wall switch, it should turn on if it doesn't wait some seconds and turn it on.
if that doesn't help remove the battery from the phone and put it back in, it should turn on and reset.

I have a Sony Ericsson W580i that last Thursday its battery went flat then i went to connect it to battery charger and it wont charger up all it does it flash the red light at side and vibrate and wont...

I had the same problem. Your connection is dirty. Take a toothbrush and brush the charger receiver vigorously. If you can see that there is some buildup on the connector scrape it off with a knife. This worked for me.

vacuum the water out by puting tho mouth of the vacuum at the entrance to the phone charger slot and then wait a few hours to 2 days it may mork it may not u could just need a new battery

same thing happened to mine last year--you need to update the software:
your phone should have come with a usb/computer hookup wire (it's gray). Download it onto your phone. It turns out that this same problem happened the other day (so I am downloading it now). it's the only problem ive had on this phone... hope it helps

Okay take out battery and put phone on charger .. then try a hard reset . and then go to a soft reset. after that put battery back on and soft retset and see if it works .
