I replaced the lamp and Ballast in my Samsung HLP4663W; still no picture

Hi, it may be your lamp door switch. This is a common problem with DLP/LCD projection TV's.
You can by-pass it. You do not need it,unless you plan to stare at the light when it is on and ruin your eyes.Take the lamp door off,There is a little blue switch,disconnect the wires fron the connector,or simply cut the 2/or sometimes 3 wires. Connect them together. And tape then.Do not worry about getting shocked.only 3.4 volts. But do this when tv is un pluged. Due to bright lamp. it you feel uncomfortable doing this,Just tape the switch in the on posisition. Either push it foward or backward. in the middle it is in the off position. If still has a problem,replace the lamp,if you did,it may be your DMD board. That gets costly. And needs to be replaced by a tech. Not a easy task.Also of lineing up to do,and adjusting.
