Question about Coby MP-C7085 MP3 Player

3 Answers

MPC7095 Hello, my problem is that my Coby 2GB player doesn't have any folders in it when I open it up inside the Windows Explorer. I have formatted & reset the unit but to no avail. I'm wondering how I can put pics on it if there is no folder. I'v even tried dragging everything into the general area (where the WMPInfo.xml file resides) to see what would happen and although I could access the MP3's O.K. I was unable to view pictures. Please help - thank you

How do I download music to my COBY MP3 Player?

Does it show up as a USB drive in windows explorer? If not you may need to see if there is a menu option some where in its settings to change it to a mass storage device. It should then show up in windows explorer where you can drag mp3s to the music folder or copy and paste them.

My Coby mp3 player (MPC7095) overrides my songs everytime I add new songs. I want to format my player so I can start everything all over again.. how can I do this?

easy way is to connect your player and go to my computer right click the icon it is given and select format. if a window pops up asking the type of format, this will not work. from there use the supplied software to format (if this one doesnt have any software (relies on WMP) use windows media player to format it. under the sync tab's option there is a category for formatting)

Coby mpc7095 2gb player has lots of songs on it but PC won't pick them up

I changed the settings in system tools >USB settings to MCS mode and then you can access all lthe files on your coby player through your PC and move them into the appropriate folder. It seems all your music has to go into the music folder. The Coby player isn't the most user friendly and is buggy. If they fix the programming, it would be a good competitor to ipod.
