Problem for E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
E520 machine is saying there is no audio output
e520 machine is saying there is no audio output device installed.this was ok when last used

This can happen in case the windows Audio service is not starting properly
Try this:
Click Start, select Run, type "services.msc" without the quotes and press Ok. Services window will open up. In that window, select the Windows Audio Service and the status and startup type of the same. In case the startup type is disabled, double click on it and select the startup type as Automatic. After that right click on this service and click Start. In case the Start is greyed out, click on Restart. Now check for the sound.
