Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

No video There is an audio connection, but no video. We have tried new cords and various tvs.

Have you flicked the SD HD switch on the video cable to the right one for the tv

Your ANA scaler chip or your GPU are bad. Both of which there isnt a hotfix for yet. You will need to contact MS they will be able to help you out. If you have like a best buy replacment plan you can use that and get a new system. The problem is def the system. Hope this helps.

Hook up a/v cord and have it on standy (red light)...push and hold power button for about 7-10 seconds or until you hear it beep......Let off...wait another 5-10 it on now????? if not your audio/video card in it might have went out....

Yes this is not normally the lead or anything to do with your TV, it happens because the GPU is heating up, you need to stop the scaler chip taking so much heat you can do this with a good guide or you can send it back and they will fix it for you

Ps3 does not show picture or sound

have you checked your video and audio cord. have u tried to buy a new cord. maybe your audio and video cord is out. are you using a hd cord, or regular cord. is your tv have an hd outlet or just a regular tv that does not have hd privalages

Xbox 360 plays game but recently has no sound? tried diff powercord and diff tvs still same problem. help

try a different av cord.yellow,red,white cord or what ever cord that goes to your tv.sometimes the cord gets broke where the audio is at and sometimes the system has a setting where it won't project sound

Try reseting the video following these steps:

Power off your PS3.

Turn on your PS3 by holding down the power button until you hear TWO beeps, then let go immediately.

This will reset it back to the default video settings.

If that doesn't work then you probably have a problem with the RSX (Video Chip) on the motherboard. You'll have to call Sony @ 1-800-345-SONY for service.

Your tv could have a losse connection on the video input. Try moving it around to see if you get any picture. Either that or u need a new audio video cord for your console
