that is a bios password it is a common problem when bios software isnever updated. it is covered under an exception code i believe. email me your model part number and i will tell you the rest of the process monday. or if you want to do it yourself the pin is located under the ram, it looks like two interlocking E's
take a flathead and press in between the two

- absolutely on different laptops the bios password is reset differently however underneath the ram and under the black plastic you should find an interlocking E3 something that looks like what i just wrote. use a flat blade screw driver and place the tip in the middle shorting the two pins together and hold for 30 seconds. that should reset it if not try one more time. if you are unsure of yourself it is handled under an extended warranty exception.if you are bold i could walk you through it a bit more directly feel free to email me at vaughns@cssnow.com.
