What about removing the battery? Surely that should reset it - http://www.samsung.com/us/support/SupportOwnersFAQPopup.do?faq_id=FAQ00046133&fm_seq=48933
Hold the the on/off button up for about 10-20 seconds and it should turn off. then you can just turn it on again. I fit doesn't work, then just wait for the battery to die and charge it back up.
You probably shouldnt play with any of the buttons really but i know how to fix it. You hold down the slide power for about 5 seconds and poke the reset button with a pen tip or w.e for about another 5 seconds till it restarts itself.
On the very bottom of your Walkman, next to where you'd normally put the USB cable on the left side (when the screen is facing you) is a reset button. Hit it with a pin, that should do it :)
I had the same problem. Just wait until the battery will be out of charge and then charge it again with your computer. Turn it on and you go.
(Sorry for my english, i'm french)
