dell c610 powers off while in standby. then to restart you have to hold the power button for over a minute or more, sometimes having to remove the power and then reinsert and or the battery. I use this dell as sort of a server to power and control a printer and backup external hard drive.I rarely use it otherwise. Typically the battery is removed all the time, just running on wall power
