Water leakage from underneath front of fridge

By blambert560 on Oct 31, 2009

Water leakage from underneath front of fridge and/or freezer. Ice build up on floor on freezer. Drain pan overflowing? Drain hole appears iced also. Can poke wire down 8" but water isn't draining completely. How do I get to the drain tube to clear it and determine why it is not melting and evaporating?

The drain hose is probably clogged with a pea or some kind of food etc. Try pouring boiling water down the hose, or a hair dryer if that doesn't work, or let it warm up until you can pour water down and it comes out into the pan at the bottom. Make sure that the hose is free of dirt etc

Pull out fridge to see the pan, disconnect the POWER..
