Having purchased these speakers about 10 months ago they now play a "wind coming down a chimney sound" through the woofer constantly. Regardless of whether the computer is switched on or not, as long as the speakers and powered on the sound is there.

i've disconnecting from the computer completely, fiddled with sound levels and reseated all cables to the woofer, but the sound continues to come.

Anyone have any ideas to try?

Not long ago I got the same problem with my speakers, the problem was coming from the jack of the central satellite (the one that controls volume and power supply) ... try changing it, or the corresponding jack on the woofer, worked by me

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!
