Tv went out when power went off, will not come back on

You NEED 2 go to a RETAIL Store, and purchase a SURGE PROTECTOR. It MUST have a switch, maybe a lit switch. When NOT watching this TV, TURN the POWER OFF. This WILL save burnout of the POWER transformer, and NOT use electricity, saving U money. When turning on this tv, U MUST have an electric Fan, to blow air across the electrical boards. This too, will add LONGIVITY, to the overheated electical circuits. I hope this helps.

It's the problem of overheating in the power supply board of the TV.on the power supply board of the TV there are few capacitors and IC.any of this ic is got short or may be due to this when you start the TV the current passes from electric outlet to the power supply board of TV.but when the current passes from that weak/faulty part at that time current gets stopped or slow and the board overheats and TV shuts off. this is a common problem faced by many other users too.the possible option to solve this issue is to check the power supply board by a meter and continuity tester and replace the faulty component on the board which is short due to which power supply board is getting overheated.its bit technical job but yes its not at all a costly repair to do or get it done by the technician. for required parts it can be easily available from local electronic hardware shop.
This will help you in solving the problem....

Power on TV went out and it will come back on.

Check for busted fuse inside your TV, so you can switch it back on. So, open it up. Follow the power cord going inside your TV. The fuse is just near to it. Have it replaced, and have it carefully clean free from dust using 1/2 inch paint brush. Put the case back close, and plug it back to your outlet. Switch it on. Hope this

Panasonic 50 inch Plasma

it could have over heated you can try to reset it first unplug it for about five minutes and try to turn it on if that dont work the remote might have a set button try holding that down until the red light flashes twice, then turn it on if not then hold the power button down on the set for a good five seconds to see if that resets it. if none of that works you will have to go to panasonic .com for the reset instructions.with the red light blinking the power supply is most likely good you just need to reset i.
