Question about Sony VAIO PCV-W510G PC Desktop
Following mathgirl08's suggestion I removed the top panel. There are 4 screws at the bottom - 1 one each side and 2 that are hidden under removal pads. At that point the back is fairly easy to remove.
3 screws hold in the hard drive casing. Once they are removed, you can flip the casing around and remove hte Cable and power. 4 screws hold the drive inside the casing

I bought the same computer used, and I had issues trying to find out how to open it. On the actual computer part (not the monitor) there is a button on the upper left on the side facing you. Push in that button and slide that top casing to the right while pulling up. The RAM slots are on the upper left. I haven't found an easy way to get to the hard drive, but if you find one . . . please share. Every site I found says "don't try to change the hard drive".
