Philips Magnavox DVD/VCR Dual Player

Jumbo universal remote

I recently purchased a jumbo universal remote.
I have the manual and have coded the remote for my tv and cable box.
I am having trouble coding the remote for my Magnavox dvd/vcr player model # mwd2205. this is a dvd/ vcr combo unit.Is there some method to get the remote code for this unit?

I found that on the back of the 2205 it said that the unit was made by Funai. I looked in the Innovage book and found that the codes for Funai DVD are 231 and 233. 233 worked on mine. Good luck.
