Pioneer DVD-RWDVRKD08RS problem on windows 7 \r\n

if you are talking about the dvd writer from the laptop...it is possible that you didnt got the right driver ..or you disabled it by mistake ...try to get into bios and enable it if you locate it there ,,,if not just remove the bios battery ...to get it to factory defaults...this can be done from Bios too ...but Im not sure if it will restore the disabled drives when you access the feature for optimal defaults into Bios...try anyway and let me know what you've done ...
there is the possibility that its broke ...but its a long shoot ..cause they usually do not die suddenly ..but loose a function at the time ...so ...I know that ya at least use d it to install windows 7 cause this one can not be installed but from the disk ...so something is wrong and the thing is that is disabled for sure ...
reinstalling from scratch will fix this too ...cause in all windows there are drivers fo dvd drives...
