Question about HP PSC 750 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Hello, and thank for taking the time to help me with this problem. christmas day i was printing with cardstock. there was no problem printing the cardstock, but afterwards it started to make a grinding sound. the screen notified me that i had a carriage jam and that the door is open when it is secured closed. since then i have not been able to print anything. ive tried disconnecting the power, opening and closing the door, and generally fiddling around with it, but nothing seems to clear the carriage jam. if there is anything you can help me with please email me at email@example.com. thank you
Look inside the printer for anything that shouldn't be in there... like paper or dust.
Cariage jam is shown whenever the carriage is blocked by something... even the service station (the black container in the right where the cariage sleeps). With the printer cover open try to power up the unit. Look where the cariage stops. Ceck with a flashlight for any obstacles in that area. Olso verify if the service station is moving. It could be broken and the cariage cannot move away from it.
