Question about Washing Machines
Our washer will just stop in the beginning, middle, end or anywhere during any cycle it doesn't matter. It can happen no matter where any of the settings are. It happens randomly without any kind of warning. I have tried jiggling the power cord, there appears to be no problem there. The magnetic safety switch seems to be OK. Any ideas short of replacing the whole control assembly?
You may try a couple of things. 1. unplug the machine overnight and then try it. 2. unplug the machine, take the backsplash loose where the timer/control panel is located. check to make sure that you don't have any rodents, bugs or roaches in the timer/control panel causing you problems such as chewed up wires or dead bugs in the control panel. If this is the case clean out the control panel and or repair any wires.
3 Replace control panel.
