Automatically adding and removing songs and playlistsWhen iPod is set to automatically sync all music with iTunes (default setting), songs and playlists that are added or deleted from your iTunes Library will also be added or deleted from your iPod when the iPod is connected and synced with iTunes. If your iPod is set to only sync certain playlists automatically, songs are added or removed from the iPod when they are added or removed from the playlists in iTunes that are synced to iPod1. For more information about automatic syncing with iPod, see the iPod Tutorials and this article.

ipod 8gb 2nd gen nano. display has lines running down it and can only see about 1st 3 lines from top. was mac-formatted when it happened. sometimes would display correctly if plugged into the wall (not computer). have reformatted to windows. reset it. no change. plays songs, but can't change any of the settings without memorizing the click order (ie, shuffle mode, selecting specific albums/artists/songs). anyone know how to fix it or am i just gonna have to shell out for a new one? thx in advance!
