Try resetting the device it’s usually a small pinhole on the back or side of the device try holding that in for about 10 seconds

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer’s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

Finally my computer recognized the Sansa Clip... I was thrilled & started listening to music immediately. It sounded great. I was really enjoying it... until the player died in the middle of the song. It was fully charged, but just in case, I connected back to the computer. The player won't turn on. It doesn't matter if it's connected or not. The 'power' button isn't working either. Can I fix this, or is it an unreliable player? (This also happened early this week - it's a replacement player, from the warranty!) Thank you.

i can't seem to upload music from my sansa clip to the windows media player. Some songs will upload just fine and i can play them on my media player, others just skip and will only play 3 sec of wierdness. The files say they are not protected and were downloaded from another media player.
