Video wont play in firefox - gives message: Hello, either you have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
I have downloaded new java, and flash player, and tried to turn java on from tools etc.
Video works on my machine from internet explorer.

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox? Choose "Add-Ons" from the "Tools" menu, then make sure the "Extensions" button is highlighted, and list anything that it displays there. The most likely culprit is an add-on that is blocking certain (or all) javascripts or flash objects from running. Also, please keep in mind, Javascript is different from Java :)

Just a few q's: -What video are you trying to see? can you post the link?(assuming the video is g rated, of course) Is it just one video, just one site, or every site that this doesn't work for? -Have you tried disabling all extensions (in tools->Addons) and all plugins? (apart from flash) -what operating system are you running, and what version of IE and FF? Have you updated to latest Firefox to see if that helps?

Have you downloaded the newest version of Firefox, came out a week or so ago. It asked me to download a new version of java which I did.
Also you might have set the default player to explorer.
