Question about Philips DVDR75 DVD Recorder
Hi, there everyone, I have a problem with our dvdr75..this machine since bought has had about one months usage and has never been used for recording yet....I was sent a firmware update from philips on disk, this was because it would not play certain new dvds.i.e. resident evil...the firmware update went in o.k....and for a short while everything was fine.
Now all I get when the machine is switched on is a red ring light on the record button...no other lights appear on the unit..resetting from the mains does nothing...I do hope someone may be able to help me, thanks very much...Edmund.
Hey there Dante471, you can roll back the driver to it's original setting before the update. Control panel / Administrative tools / computer management / device manager / your dvd drive / driver / roll back driver. I suggest you shut down all other applications, and follow procedure with a restart. If further details are required or you need elaboration on method, let me know. Good Luck!
