Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Keypad quit working

The only button that works consistently was the on/off button. The rest work once in a while and very unstable. Sometimes when the key works it works properly. Sometimes it would say "voice Record Memory Full". But I did not record anything as far as I know. Everything else works fine. I did not drop the phone or get it wet or anything. Please help! Thank you!!

I fixed my phone in an easier way. I suspect somehow some moisture got into the keypad area, which caused this problem. So I put my phone on top of the vent of the heater. First time, just lying on its back it worked but had the same problem the next day. Then I flipped it open, and put the keypad side down on the vent and in a couple of hours the phone works properly. I know it is not the best way to fix the phone but at least it is not difficult to do. I wish the best luck to all you guys who had the same problem. I know that it sucks!

I tried to unscrew those screws as recommended but they are so tight and I don't have the proper screwdriver so I had to find another way.

I already try by my self this step and it works!

- open 4 screw in the corner of u're lcd (open the rubber first)
- open connector flex cable (2 items)
- clean it with some cleaner (alcohol) with brush
- assemble it!

I have an Emerson 900W Microwave MW8999SB and it will randomly assign DEF1 and the rest of the keypad is difficult or not functioning. None of the quick buttons work, and only the 30-second button works....

Pressing the Clear/Pause button works. Sometimes. Most of the time, about a microsecond after pressing Clear/Pause, it goes right back to def1. Most of the time, pressing ANY button doesn't work. Usually takes me 10 to 20 tries to get anything to work. My microwave is about 3 months old. I will never buy Emerson again.

R-408HS some buttons dont work

If the unit does this the keypad area may be bad---cheaper in most cases to buy a new unit.

I have sears opener #139.53989. Every once in a while I have a down problem. It goes down within an inch of the floor and reverses. Sometimes I can hold the wired remote button and it will go all the way...

If the main light flashes 10 times when the door reverses it is a sensor problem. Check them very closely. If they are just a little off one of them will be flickering but it is difficult to see. This can also cause the problem to be intermittent. Tweak them just a little.

It is normal for that light to blink randomly.

Keypad not working

you will need to take the case off the phone and check behind the buttons where the pads touch the circuit board these sometimes get greasy or dusty causing it to not create a conection between button and the circuit board clean the circuit board with dry dust free cloth look for signs of grease or water damage if this is clean or after cleaning put phone back together and try buttons if they still dont work you could try replacing the keys that you press as sometimes after alot of use these fail to connect with the board properly causing buttons not to work if you replace these and still dont work then it could be a warped board this happens if you have sat on phone or had it in pocket and let on something causing pressure on the case and this will warp the board their is no cure for this the only thing to do is buy new phone as a new board will cost as much as the phone hopefully this is not the case it might just need your keypad replacing try my first two sollutions first if this dont change anything then i would take it to repair shop and see if they think it is a warped board hope this is some help to you
