my go gear was working fine it was plugged into the comoputer after i unplugged it, the computer now doesnt recognize it and it wont come on anymore. sometimes the philips screen comes on then it just cuts off i tried reseting and pressing F5 to refresh it! could the computer give my mp3 a virus?

Yes it can. What I would do is scan your computer for a virus and then scan your player and see if you have a virus on it also. If that does not produce anything please leave a comment and let us know so that we can provide you with other solutions.
