I'm afraid once you lose the charge on a battery there is really no way to get it back. however you can replace the battery or have the apple support people replace it, but other than that there is really no way to regain the lost charge.

It does not turn on

Try and reset the player by inserting a pointed object inside the small hole, press and hold for 5-10 seconds to let the player reset. If this doesn't work then connect the player with the computer/charger and let it charge for a while and try a reset after 30-40 minutes. This will resolve your issue. Please post back for any further assistance. Hope this helps...

first of all be sure not to try and turn the device back on while it is wet. Take the battery out and let it sit on a towel. You can try and use some light heat from a hair drier... It will take some time, I would let it sit for a couple of days before trying to turn it on again.

I am not all that familiar with the device, but many manufacturers put the screw holes behind the batteries if you want to try and open it up, just don't turn it on...

IPod nano 3g video problem

I believe that something is wrong with the video file you are playing.
remove it from your ipod and try reloading it again.
it sounds like maybe a format problem or just a damaged file.

I get nothing from my player.

I just had this problem again this morning and solved it in about a minute. For my player all I do is hold the "on" button down for about one minute (maybe a minute and a half) then try to turn it on normally a few seconds later. It has always solved my problem!

Sansa e280

getting warm is normal I've never seen one get HOT, you can pull out the battery from these players very easey by removing 4 screws from the back of the player take it out for a minute and this should reset the player, if not you may need a new battery these are on Amazon for short money.

I had the same problem. The mother card is grilled and you'll need to send it back for repairs.

can't do it yourself.

Overheats wont turn on? is it dead for good?

Thats weird, they use flash memory so it shouldn't heat up...but you obviously have an internal electrical problem so I say bring it back or get it repaired.
