The CD player has CDs loaded in it but will not eject any of them...it says error when you try to eject. How can you get the CDs out?? Can the system be reset or something else done to eject the CDs??
Thanks,
PK
Does it give an error code? usually it just a gear timing problem, will it load discs that are in it?

Just buy a new one. I had mine go out and I'm sure you might be able to have someone fix it but it is easier/more cost effective to just buy a new one on ebay for $50. I think the springs that swap the discs around get worn out.

no error code just "CD error". I went out and looked at the CD player. There are CDs in the number 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 slots. The number 3 slot is empty. If I hit insert, it shows moving to number 3, but then afer a few seconds, an error message. Same thing if I select the eject button, it has me select a position, and after selecting either 1,2, 4, 5, or 6, it produces an error message. The CD player is part of the Mach 1 sound system setup for the Mustang. I didn't see a reset button and tried pushing and holding the power/ATT and eject button simultaneously, and other combinations. Only thing I haven't tried is disconnecting the battery... do you think that might help??
no error code...just error message. no it will not play/load discs that are already in it.
When I put my cds in player it ejects and displays the letters TRK on the display..Have you any advice
