Microsoft windows 98 SE

 I have this on my computer i have a Gateway G6-366
pentuim two , i recently purchased a Gateway DC-T20
Digital camera,the camera is working fine, i plug it into
my USB Port 1 to downlaod pictures , i was sent by gateway
i tuitorial about such i followed it to the T. i was told
to open MY COMPUTER and go to where it says look for a new
removable disk icon to download my pictures , there is no
such icon in there i cannot figure out why this wont work
i am doing my best to get the pics on the puter i want to
sell some things on ebay but need to list them first with
pics anyone out there know how to help me ?? Gateway told
me it was in my windows 98 SE program i need to update my
windows then it will work anyone had this same problem ???
