42" plasma no picture

42" plasma powers on but doesn't do anything. the power light comes on and the tv clicks and then shuts down. I have replaced the power board. the green LEDs power up and then the relays click and the alarm LED comes on and then no more response.

The first thing to check would be swolen ccapacitors on the power board. replace them if so.

BUSH 42" plasma no picture or sound?

You have a power supply problem, replace the Module.
What you ear is a click relay No juice to activate the relay
Some cups may be dried.

Panasonic plasma TH42PZ700U. Just heard a click and it shut down, now the power light blinks 10 times. Is this a power supply problem or something else?

Plasma and LCD TV sets are prone to having capacitors in the power supply section fail. This is the most likely cause for the probem you describe. When capacitors fail your will commonly see one or more of the following symptoms.

No video, Power light is on or blinking.
TV is making a clicking noise.
TV takes a while to come on
Screen is very dim or flickers.

Here are pictures of capacitors...Notice that the ones below look bloated. They have failed and will need to be repalced.

Power light blinking 2 times

2 blinks means the unit is having problem with 12 volt supply.
while power on you can check 12DC on power supply before shutdown.if the voltage is constant before shut down I would recommend to replace D board.

No picture, no sound.

Hi i have a pilips 42" plasma tv (42PF5320/79) i can hear clicking the green light is on and the tv will go into stand by if i press the power button and the red light also comes on .I have turned it on and off and it works now nothing just the light on the front as if its working looking at the back through the slots two green lights come on then the tv clicks and they turn off,thanks
