My Tomtom One 3rd edition freezes during booting

My Tomtom One 3rd edition freezes during booting with the Tomtom sign at the screen. Furthermore it doesn't react for anything but for pushing the reset button. It is not possible to connect it to the computer, so it is impossible to update or re-install the software.
