- I have been downloading movies, I came home from work turned on the unit it has a clicking soumd inside. I usually have an icon when I open the computer icon, now nothing shows up.Clarification Request

A clicking noise from a hard drive is the the read write heads banging back and forth across the disk platters. This drive is faulty and needs to be replaced.
The data is not recoverable by normal means, if you are need to recover the data from this hard disk, there are companies that can recover data from faulty hard drive BUT it will cost you an arm and a leg for their services.
