Camera wont download to new computor

I originally had a Gateway computor and my camera downloaded with no problem.
I just got a Dell and my camera wont download into the USB port.
My camera is about 6 yrs old. Have they changed the USB ports? Is theere an update I need.

ApprenticeIf your computer came with Windows Vista then there's no driver for the G2 and it wil not work.
The only thing you can do is buy a card reader which downloads your pictures directly from your card. They are thankfully cheap (usually less than $20) and easy to use.
There's a gazillion types of cards & card readers so make sure you buy the right one.
