I would like to improve upon the installed processor of my Dell Optiplex GX270 Small Micro-tower(Intel Celeron 2.0 Ghz) and do not know the socket type.
Here I have found the technical specifications for this system, but for informational purposes it is pentium 4 and celeron 478pin intel only. http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx270/en/ug/specs.htm

I appreciate your assistance. I did some in-depth research and yet I could not find what you located at support.dell.
