If you are using windows vista or xp then please open the printer wizard and click on add printer , connect the printer usb cable from computer and click on next, drag the bar”lpt” and you will get the option “usb virtual printer port” select it and click on next and select the lexmark after that search the driver if available there and click on next. It may help you to install the printer if it still not work then remove the printer entry from add remove program if it is there restart the computer and download the latest driver from “http://support.lexmark.com/index?locale=en&productCode=LEXMARK_X5470&userlocale=EN_US&segment=DOWNLOAD&os=WINDOWS_XP&page=downloadsList&oslocale=en_US#1”. You will get a box please select the your operating system to download the driver and install it.
