I have been printing with this unit for 2 years, now it started printing with a strip down the left side of the paper from top to bottom with much less toner than the rest of the document (to light to read). Please help
I have the same problem
I know someone who can solve this problem

I have the same problem also and i have tried cleaning the led heads and changed the toner but still the same problem. Any help?

I am having the same problem. Had the printer for about 2 years, now a strip down the side with less toner. I tried shaking the toner to redistribute and also tried turning on/off. Nothing helps. Any other suggestions?

Clean led head's on underside of lid, check tranport belt under drums for damage, test with different colour does the strip exist in all colours or just black?

Just a thought for others... is this an image drum problem?
Also, if you haven't done this yet - try gently shaking the toner cartridges to redistribute the toner. Just make sure you do it gently and over a newspaper or rugs in case some toner spills. One last idea - turn off the printer and turn back on after a few minutes?
