Question about Panasonic DMR-ES20EG DVD Recorder
Our dvd recorder would not turn off after watching a dvd and then went through a recovery process. It does that for days and then when we forced it off as the manual said and then tried to eject the disk both with the normal open button and with the manuals overide optiion, this did not work. We tried re-setting it by unplugging it for as the manual said and now it just gets the time and will not turn on eject or anything else.
First try pressing and holding the stop and channel up buttons (at the same time) on the unit (not the remote) for about five seconds.
If that doesn't work, try pressing and holding the stop and power buttons at the same time.
