I suggest you try a different head phones to test your MP3 player. The fault may not be the headphone port, it may be the headphone usually the wires near the headphone plug break.

Left side of earphones don't work

I have the same problem as well. you just have to take the headphones out, and not put them in all the way. just put them in partway, wait until you can hear out of both.

I can only hear out of one headphone. I replaced the headphones and the problem still exists

Hi
does both of the earphones are new?
make sure you plugged the earphones properly .
If the earphones are new and connected properly then the problem is in the player connector and you probably have to take it to be fixed or even more simple buy new one.

My Sansa c250 won't charge properly. Initially when I bought it, I used it with a Windows XP PC, no sweat. That computer died and I began charging it with an OSX instead. It worked for a while, but after a...

I had a similar problem. My Sansa c250 would charge, when plugged into the computer. It would read that it was writing but the computer did not recognized that the Sansa c250 was connected. I switched to a different USB port and got the same results. I then realized that the two ports I was using were 1.0 port and idmedeatly when inserted in the 2.0 port it began charging and the computer recongized the Sansa c250. I know this won't solve every charging problem one may have. Changing the battery would be easier in some cases. Especially if they were sold like the AA or AAA.

Sound Problem.

exactly - it seems to be a hardware problem. The only way to fix it is to do some soldering. In effect, you break your warantee (if you have one). In the end, its just better to get a new one.
