New 6500 OfficeJet installation issues -doesn't recognize printhead

I installed the printhead and cartridges according to the installation instructions. I get the following error message: "No Printhead Installed, Install printhead or re-install printhead."

I did this and the error message won't go away. HELP ......

you will need to contact HP for replacement parts here is there technical support # 800-474-6836 they are open 24-7
