I am assuming you are referring to the dry foam shampoo. After applying the dry foam shampoo down, wait about 10 minutes to go back over it and pick up the what ever is left over with the shampooer. Then wait till the carpet is completely dry (about 30 minutes to 1.5 hours) before you vacuum.
