Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Registration Problems

When you try to install an upgrade version of an Adobe product, the product installer searches for a previous version of the product installed on your computer. If the installer cannot locate a previous version, then it requires you to enter the previous version serial number.

If neither a previous version nor a serial number are available, then the installation will fail and one of the following errors will be returned:

• "Invalid Serial Number: The serial number you entered is not valid. Click OK to retry entering the serial number."
• "A qualifying version was not detected. Please try again or cancel the installation. If you have a valid copy that was not detected, please call Adobe Customer Service or your local reseller for assistance."
• "An incorrect serial number was entered. Please try again or cancel the installation. If your previous version serial number was not accepted, please call Adobe Customer Service or your local reseller for assistance."

Important: You might receive one of these errors because the product you purchased is not a qualified upgrade version.

If you did not purchase the correct upgrade, then you must return your product for a refund or exchange.
