when i put music on it it dosn't show up on the devise but it takes up memory. It's like rcording it to a smaller file or somthing

- Right after i poasted the question I called sandisk and then figured out to reformat the player. It fixed the problem. thank for your help though.

how are you loading the music to the device ? windows media player? or drag and dropping the music ?
