I have a canon imagerunner 1025if and I am trying to scan and it is not letting me. Any suggestions ?

It may be an option on your computer rather than on your printer. Check the options on the print screen of your computer.

I'm assuming you have the line in the line port in rear of the copier and that the line is good. You may have a bad NCU board or the interface board. Open up the back of the copier and you should see both boards on the lower left side. I would try the one board on the left and if that doesn't work try the other board. Good luck.

when you are printing something get to the print area and before pressing the print button click on printer properties and then select the paper size from the list available
save then press the print button
it is only good for the job you are printing as the next job , it will revert to the default setting

if the streaks are narrow and looks as "barcode", you need to replace the drum unit. C-EXV18 Canon Drum unit.

right arrow until you see address book, press OK. You should see 1- touch speed dial.
press OK
If you want the 01 position to be a number press OK.
Follow or answer prompts using OK until finished.

service mode * then 2 then 8 then #

Try to connect simple phone to fax line and try to dial a number of fax that you are calling from machine.If the line is ok then do the next:
press MENU and # ( service mode) with cursors go to clear, ok, clear all and ok.Turn off and on.
If that doesnt help call service.

Be carefull: the tel. line to fax machine must be connected in L slot, not in small picture of telephone.
