disassemble it as much as you can. leave it in a dry warm environment for about a week to dry out. put it back together in about a week. charge up the battery and power it up. cross your fingers it may work.
To start with you're not the first person who's had this problem. This is probably the worst thing that can happen to your phone and before I start let me tell you this...I'm afraid it's time for you to buy a new phone.
This problem has taken place with me 2 times now and both times my phone didn't recover.
Whats happening in your phone right now is that the internal circuits are rusting therefore you're gonna have many and totally irrelated problems. You're only hope is some really good service centre where you need to tell them thats there's been water damage and they're gonna open up your phone and try to dry it.
Your phone has a 50% chance of surving if it's been only 3 days since the water damage, 20% chance if it's been a week. Generally after 2 weeks your phone is going to have some operations that work and some which have just gone permanently. (In my case it was the display and the call making facility)
I know you're thinking that this is probably the worst solution ever but honestly there really isn't much you can do for your phone if it's more than one day after water's gone in. Though go to the service centre they'll probably be able to make it okay. You really have nothing to lose anyway.
does your phone still work after being submerged?? i did the same and it was toast...
the screen is layered...glasss, lcd, and they are not meant to come apart. The phone needs to be left out, taken apart as far as you can get to air out. Leave it for a day or so, and put together. Hope this helps
you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried
well that means you have liquid damage and you have voided your warranty on your device. Your only option is to buy a new phone or take advantage of insurance if you have it!
go get a torx screw driver and open it up stop turning it on that will only hurt it ... once you open it up dry under a lamp for a day and it will probably work
